On August 05, 2024, Our School celebrated the ordination of our beloved principal, Fr. Johnson Joseph. The day began with a solemn Mass, Followed by a warm procession. Students performed cultural dances, choir songs and a drama to honor him. Speeches from dignitaries and heartfelt tributes highlighted Fr. Johnson Joseph inspirational leadership. The celebration Conclude with a grand feast, marking a memorable and joyous occasion for the entire infantine family.

Capacity Building Program on “National Education Policy 2020”

A Capacity Building Program On NEP 2020 Was Held On 25-06-2024. The Session Was Conducted By Mr. Bilal Ali (Motivational Reader) And He Is Aimed To Educate The Staff Members About The Key Aspects And Implementation Strategies Of The NEP 2020. The Session Was Interactive And Well- Received Participants Found It Informative And Helpful In Understanding NEP 2020.

GRATITUDE DAY FOR VICE PRINCIPAL SR. ANILA

On May 24, 2024 we Held a Heartfelt Farewell Function for Our Esteemed vice Principal, Sr. Anila .The Event Was a Small but Vibrant Gathering Filled with Gratitude and Warm Memories Shared by All. Many Staff Members Gave Touching Felicitation Speeches, Reminiscing about the Impactful Moments and the Positive Influence Sr. Anila Had on Our Institution .Her Leadership and Dedication Were Celebrated by Everyone Present.

ROBOTICS INAGURATION REPORT

The Inaugural function of the robotics program in our school was held on May 11, 2024. The event featured several distinguished guests. The event includes robotics demonstrations by students, interactive workshops, and a panel discussion on the future impact of robotics in education. This program marks a significant step in integrating advanced technology into the school curriculum.

ACADEMIC INAUGURATION

The Academic Inauguration Session Held On 8-04-2024, Commenced With A Soulful Prayer Dance. Neha Mam Welcome All The Members To Inauguration Ceremony Followed By Lighting Lamp By The Dignitaries And Class Representative. Session Conducted For The Students. Recognition Was Given To Students Excelling In Extracurricular Activities, With Prizes Awarded For House Board Creation And Certificates Distributed To Outstanding Athletes Of Our School. The Former Cabinet Was Graciously Relinquished, Paving The Way For New Leadership And Fresh Perspectives. The Session Concluded With Heartfelt Vote Of Thanks.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF DIRECTOR

On 29 April, a birthday celebration was held for our director, Fr. Jomon Vicent, at Christ Hall. The event was filled with vibrant performances by students from each house, showcasing their talents and creativity. Staff members presented thoughtful gifts to Honor Fr. Jomon Vicent on his special day, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

FAREWELL FOR 12TH CLASS STUDENTS

The much anticipated farewell Ceremony for outgoing class12 Students was held on 31-1-2024. The event marked the end of an Academic journey and served as a plat form for the students, faculty and staff to come together and bid farewell to the graduating class. The farewell was graced by the presence of Director Fr. Jomon and Principal Fr. Johnson Joseph and other dignitaries. The morning was filled with a variety of cultural performance. The heartfelt speech was delivered by Principal Fr. Johnson Joseph by expressing gratitude and well wishes for the graduating class. The farewell ceremony for class 12 was a memorable and emotional events that celebrated the achievements, memories and friendship of the graduating students.

GRATITUDE DAY FOR CLASS XII

A day of gratitude was arranged by the students of 12th class, on 5th February 2024, the ceremony began with lamp lighting by dignitaries and students. Gratitude filled the air. The parents of the 12 class also were invited to witness the moment.

LOFTY APPLICATION TRAINING FOR PARENTS

STAFF COUNCIL MEETING

On 1st April staff meeting for the new academic year 2024 m-2025 covered a discussion on relevant departments regarding the preparation for the academic year start. This includes information on orientation schedules, resources allocation, campus safety measures, and technology readiness. Any concern or challenges were noted for further discussion and resolution and an orientation session led by Fr. Johnson Joseph, the principal of IJS. His presentation on “CONSCIOUSNESS OF HUMAN MIND ’’ was insightful and he also shared exciting plans for school future particularly in the field of ROBOTICS.

Chemistry Exhibition:
A Journey through Science

The 4th of September witnessed the captivating Chemistry Exhibition. The Class 11 students, guided by Ms. Komal Sharma, led a scientific voyage that the entire school community embarked on.

The exhibition showcased an array of fascinating topics, including the Periodic Table, lab precautions, polymers, ethanol, soaps and detergents, electromagnetic spectrum, and atomic models.

The students' dedication and passion for chemistry were on full display, as they eloquently explained each topic, leaving everyone awestruck.

The Chemistry Exhibition wasn't just a day of learning; it was a celebration of curiosity and collaboration between students and teachers. It left an enduring impression on all who attended and served as a beacon of our commitment to promoting a love for science at Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School.

Farewell to Fr Noby

On the 19th of September, a heartfelt farewell was extended to Fr Noby Kalachira, the esteemed director of Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School, who had been transferred to St. Padre Pio Church in Rohini. The farewell event, graciously presided over by the school's principal, Father Johnson Joseph, was a touching occasion filled with warmth and gratitude. Present to mark this significant transition were the newly appointed acting director, Father Jomon Vincent, the director of Infant Jesus Kindergarten School, Father Arun Arakkal, and the principal of Infant Jesus Kindergarten School, Sister Rosebel FCC. This gathering also included the entire staff community of the school, as well as the presence of student representatives. Heartfelt wishes were extended to the departing director, and tokens of appreciation in the form of gifts were presented, symbolizing the deep respect and gratitude felt for his dedicated service.

Independence Day Celebrations

On the 15th of August, the school came alive with patriotic fervor as we celebrated India's 75th Independence Day. The day began with the unfurling of the national flag by Fr. Jomon Vincent, our Director in charge, symbolizing the spirit of freedom.

Mr. Pardeep Kumar delivered an inspiring message. Representatives from each class participated, reaffirming our commitment to preserving these values for the future.

Sweets were shared, bringing smiles and a sense of togetherness to the occasion. This celebration encapsulated the pride and unity that define the school and our nation. It was a heartfelt tribute to those who fought for our freedom, a tradition we are determined to uphold for generations to come.

Investiture Ceremony and the Club Inaugurations

On the morning of October 6th, the school witnessed a significant event as the newly elected school cabinet was officially invested into their roles. This event, conducted immediately after the morning assembly, was graced by the presence of the Director, Father Jomon Vincent, and the Principal, Father Johnson Joseph, along with the entire school staff and students.

Following the Investiture Ceremony, a vibrant inauguration of the school's clubs took place. The Arts Club was kicked off with an engaging music competition, while the Sports Club commenced with an exhilarating tug of war. The Eco Club's inauguration was a green and meaningful affair, with the Director himself planting a sapling in the school premises. This event marked the beginning of diverse club activities and provided an exciting start to the academic year.

Onam Celebration

On the 29th of August, the School celebrated Onam, introducing Kerala's tradition of unity and togetherness to our North Indian students.

The day featured a lively Rangoli competition among the four school houses, beautifully illustrating the spirit of Onam and celebrating the cultural diversity of our nation.

Sweets were shared, symbolizing the sweetness of togetherness that transcends regional boundaries. This celebration highlighted the importance of unity and appreciation for our diverse culture. It was a memorable day where we celebrated the vibrant colors and rich traditions of Kerala.

Service Day

As part of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, a Service Day on October 2nd was organized by the Student Cabinet. Guided by the Director and Principal, students cleaned the nearby Tigaon market and later treated the community to a moving band performance. A public meeting featured the Director, Father Jomon Vincent, the Principal, Father Johnson Joseph, and Tigaon Village Sarpanch, Sri Ved Prakash Adhana. Mr. Kavinder Singh delivered an inspiring message, and a student street play highlighted Swachh Bharat. The event concluded with a gracious vote of thanks by Cabinet Representative Ms. Sneha Agnihotri.

Sports day 2023-2024

The much-awaited Sports Day at Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School was conducted with great enthusiasm and spirit on the 20th and 21st of October 2023. This year's event was graced by two esteemed guests, Deepti Adana, a lady pilot known for her extraordinary achievements in aviation, and Tigaon Village Sarpanch, Sri Ved Prakash Adhana. The event commenced with a grand opening ceremony, marked by a colorful parade by the students, showcasing their team spirit and unity. The chief guests were given a warm welcome, and they both addressed the students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with determination and dedication. The sporting events were divided into various categories, and students from all age groups participated with great enthusiasm. The school ground was filled with the cheers and encouragement of the teachers, parents, and fellow students The students' hard work and dedication paid off as they competed fiercely for the top spots in each event. The winners and runners-up were awarded prizes and medals by the director and principal. It was heart-warming to see the joy and pride on the faces of the winners as they received their awards. The event was not only about sports but also about fostering a sense of unity and sportsmanship among the students. It provided an excellent opportunity for the students to learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and the importance of healthy competition. The Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School Sports Day 2023-24 was a grand success. It would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the school's staff, students, and the support of the parents. Student Cabinet Elections

On the 13th of September, the vibrant spirit of democracy reverberated through the corridors of Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School as we held elections for our Students' Cabinet. The process was meticulously organized by Mr. Bachchu Singh and Ms. Nisha Bhati, ensuring a fair and transparent election. The journey towards selecting our student leaders began with students introducing themselves during the morning assembly on the 11th of September. It was a glimpse into the potential and promise of our young leaders, as they addressed their peers with poise and passion. On Election Day, students from Class 4 exercised their right to vote through the secret ballot system, selecting their Head Boy and Head Girl. In a closely contested race, Jayant and Shagun, both from Class 11, emerged victorious, carrying the responsibility of guiding their fellow students with honor and integrity. The democratic process didn't end there. Four additional cabinet members were elected through a panel of teachers. Sneha Agnihotri was chosen as the Public Relations In Charge, Jatin as the Sports Representative, Aditi as the Arts Representative, and Tushar as the Club Representative. These individuals will play crucial roles in representing the diverse interests and talents of our student body. The Students' Cabinet elections were a testimony to our commitment to nurturing leadership skills, responsible citizenship, and a strong sense of democratic values among our students. We are confident that our newly elected student leaders will lead by example and contribute significantly to the school's growth and development.

A Heartwarming Teachers' Day Celebration

On the 5th of September, Infant Jesus Senior Secondary School was aglow with appreciation, respect, and heartfelt celebrations as we marked Teachers' Day. The day was made exceptional by the enthusiastic and capable Class 12 students, led by the inspirational Ms. Monika Rani.

To commence the day, the Class 12 students assumed the role of educators during the first hour. They took charge of the entire school, handling not just their studies but also the lessons for the lower classes. This role reversal offered a unique perspective, emphasizing the dedication and hard work of our teachers.

The culmination of the day's festivities took place in Christ Hall, where a public meeting was held to honor our beloved teachers. The atmosphere was one of gratitude and camaraderie as the teachers were celebrated for their invaluable contributions to our students' lives. They were showered with gifts, tokens of appreciation that symbolized our deep gratitude.
