Disciplinary Rules

1.  Students must have a good haircut. Modern hairstyles are strictly prohibited.


2.  Students should be in their respective classes when the bell goes for the school.


3.  No student is allowed to bring mobile phone or cashto the school except tuition fee. If any student brings mobile phone to the school, it will be      confiscated and strict action will be taken against the student.


4.  No child will be allowed, without the written permission from the Principal to leave the school premises once he/she comes to the school.


5.  Trimming of nails and shaving if he has beard or moustache must be done on regular basis.


6.  Students must maintain discipline of the school strictly. They must maintain silence in and around the school campus and speak in a low voice. They      should never be found violating the school rules.


7.  School Principal/ Vice Principal or the teacher may be interviewed only during visiting time. In case of urgency, to meet teachers, Principal/Vice Principal      prior permission should be taken.


8.  Parents/Authorised guardians are not allowed to see their children during school hours except in case of an emergency for which permission must be      procured from the Principal/ Vice Principal.


9.  Every student should carry his/her hand book daily.


10.  The name, standard and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.


11.  Children should be always clean and neatly dressed. They are to wear the school uniform on all class days and for all school functions.


12.  At the first bell all the students must fall in line for the assembly and after the assembly move silently to their classrooms. Running or shouting along the        school veranda or premises is forbidden.


13.  All the students must be in their seats before the teacher enters the class. Students are not to be seen walking around the verandas during the class        hours without permission. As and when changing classes, the students must walk in silence.


14.  Students are not allowed to bring to the school transistors, cell phones, camera, comics, magazines or books other than textbooks, library books or any        object liable to cause disturbance. Such materials will be confiscated.


15.  Students should take care of school property. They should not write or scratch on desk, chairs, walls or doors of the school, nor should they damage        property belonging to others. Any damage done to the school property must be reported immediately and remedied by the offender. The decision of the        Principal in the matter will be final.


16.  The school is not responsible for goods or money lost by students. They are requested not to wear any ornaments. Money or articles should not be lent        or borrowed.


17.  The school accepts no responsibility if a student is obliged to return home during class hours because of failure (i) to wear proper school uniform (ii) to        bring proper class books (iii) to get parents signature whenever necessary or (iv) to attend class in time.


18.  During recess no student is to remain in the classroom. They are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours and also to meet parents,        relatives and friends without permission.


19.  The school reserves the right to dismiss those students whose progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose guardians show little interest in        the progress of their wards or whose conduct is harmful to others. Immorality, any act subversive to discipline, any objectionable activity inside or        outside school hours, dishonest behaviour or wilful damage to school property etc. are always sufficient reasons for immediate dismissal.


20.  Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut regularly.


21.  Remarks made in the diary should be counter-signed by the parents/guardians only.


22.  Students and parents may not offer any presents or gifts to the teachers except with the explicit permission of the Principal.


23.  After the school hours all students are expected to go home. They are not allowed to go to their friend's houses from the school.


24.  No collection for any purpose whatsoever, may be taken without the prior permission of the Principal.


25.  All the students must speak in English within the class, school Premises and in the school bus. English conversation should be encouraged at home.


26.  Every child attending the school is obliged to take part in drills, games, sports, physical exercises and other school activities.


27.  The school authorities maintain a record of the address of parents in the school office and in their own interest they are requested to promptly intimate        changes, if any, from time to time.


28.  The use of fountain pen is forbidden upto Class IV, but all the work from class V onwards is to be done in ink.


29.  Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, late coming, wilful disobedience or conduct injurious to the tone and discipline of the school will be seriously        dealt with. All pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their behaviour inside and outside the school.


30.  Every student should endeavour to keep up the high tone of the school by excelling in good manners. They should always remember that the school is        judged by their conduct.


31.  Leave of absence is not granted without Prior Written Application from Parent/guardian except in cases of unforeseen circumstances and then only for        serious reasons.


32.  No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without producing a leave application duly signed by the        parent/guardian.


33.  Repeated absence from school for more than fifteen consecutive days without leave or unexplained absence renders the students liable to have his/her        name struck off the roll. Readmission, if granted will be done on payment of ₹1000/-.


34.  All are expected to attend class on the opening day after vacations. Those absent without leave will be fined at the rate of 10/- per day. Those absent        because of sickness must present a Medical Certificate before they are admitted to class.


35.  A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor's certificate permitting him/her to rejoin        the class.
